This is an internet-based service offered by the Lands & Survey Department that allows anyone, anywhere in the world to search for and have access to land-related information in the Cayman Islands. This information includes copies of Land Registers, Strata Plans, Registry Maps, and Registered Instruments.

You may access Document Request Online via Property Ease.

Searching in Document Request Online is available 24 hours. However, if you are trying to access a document that has not been scanned or have any other query, those services are only available Monday through Friday – 9 am – 4 pm.

You will need a valid e-mail address because the documents you search for will be sent to your e-mail account via a link. This allows you to have electronic access to the document for thirty (30) days after you have purchased a document.

A Certified Copy is a copy of an original or electronic title record containing an endorsement or certificate that it is a true copy of the original or electronic title record. Often required for court proceedings regarding a land interest. If you request a Certified Copy of a Document, the entire Document will be provided.

If a document is not available on Document Request Online at the time of your search, you may still submit your request by calling in, via our website, or by emailing the information to Customer Service at landregsearch@gov.ky. The document will be uploaded to the site within 48 hours of the request; thereafter you will be notified when it is ready.

If you can’t find your evidence document in the Document Search, make sure you have entered the registration number, for example, 109A 65; otherwise please contact landregsearch@gov.ky.

This email will automatically go to the Customer Care Centre where your request will be addressed.
